Happy New Year!

I want to take the opportunity to thank all employees and partners for a really fun working year in 2021! Having been able to tour with Akti lij throughout Sweden, record several dance films, work with children and young people, take part in the first Sami Screen Dance festival and work with the exhibition Aerpie at several wonderful residencies has been fantastic! Now I'm looking forward to a new year and the premiere of Aerpie!

Aerpie's last residence

So the Aerpie project is now in Skibotn, Norway, at its last residence, at Lásságámmi. To be able to work in an artist residence like this, with Nils-Aslak Valkeapää's works all around is a real honor! Amazing views and true artist's spirit fill these rooms. Residence for Aerpie on Gotland

We are now entering the last days of our 2 week residency here on Gotland. We have received fantastic treatment from the dance consultant and the image consultant and they have arranged an incredible amount for us to take part in and be inspired by. Aerpie has residency!

   Right now Marika and Madeleine Renhuvud are working full time with the exhibition Aerpie in Stigsbo Matsesgården in residence at Korda Art. They are on a 2-week residency and the first week is now over. Due to the corona pandemic, the exhibition's opening and premiere has been moved to February 6th and will then be exhibited in Röros. Dance Home delivery delivers!

What fantastic days full of dancing and energy! 6 young people have delivered dance to people around Dalarna for 2 days. We created 3 dance pieces together and as choreographer and project manager I couldn't be more proud of these young people. Akti lij is created!

In January 2021, we were in Giron Sámitéahteré's premises and started the creation process of Akti lij. After that we were lucky enough to continue with a residency for 2 weeks in February in Dearna in collaboration with Norrlandsoperan.
